Krispy Kreme donuts...
The junior class is selling Krispy Kreme donuts. If you are interested in ordering donuts, be sure to see a junior! Orders due Feb. 9. Delivery Feb. 18.
Now Accepting Youth Art Day Literature Submissions...
Have you written a poem, short story, essay, or comic this year? Consider entering your writing into this year's Youth Art Day! We are collecting entries virtually using a Google Form. Please be sure to fill out all information and attach your Google Doc before submitting the form. Literature entries will be accepted through Monday, February 2.
The link for entry, a simple template, and Council of the Arts webpage are included below. Perry County Youth Art Day will be held here, at Greenwood MS/HS, on Saturday April 11, 2026 from 11 am – 3 pm.

School in Session...
Due to the snow day on December 2nd, school will now be in session on Friday, February 13th.
Spring Sports Physicals...
Spring sports physicals will be held on campus at Greenwood on Tuesday, February 3rd.
Students must see Mr. Bingaman to obtain a physical form. Forms are located outside of his office door.
The completed form (Sections 1–5) must be returned to Mr. Bingaman by Friday, January 30th.
The cost of the physical is free, made possible by a generous grant provided by Join Hands Ministry.
Gold Out Basketball Game...
Reminder that this Tuesday, January 27th is Mini-THON's annual GOLD OUT Night at 7:20pm! During Halftime, Mini-THON will host another Chuck-a-duck competition in the gym. The winner will receive a $50 Amazon giftcard! Ducks are $5 or 5 for $20. Join your friends, fill out the ROAR Zone, and cheer on your Wildcats for an exciting Greenwood GOLD OUT! For the kids, for the cure!
